LJStyle was founded by Lauren J. Solomon. LJStyle is a styling and personal shopping firm based in New York City. Lauren was born and raised in New York City and lived in the bohemian chic SoHo as a child. 

Her mother, born and raised in London, was a model and photography rep in the 1970s and always had impeccable taste and style. She instilled an incredible eye for unique pieces, the perfect find and afternoon tea time in Lauren. Her father has always been very handy and decorated their home with beautiful hand made pieces – from a bathroom lined in vintage wine labels as wall paper, to gilded vintage photo frames and handmade copper lamps. He always taught Lauren that with a little care and a good eye you can create beautiful things out of unexpected pieces. 

Lauren has always looked at fashion as the most creative way to express who you are. For as long as anyone in her life can remember, Lauren has been the go to for any fashion emergency or whenever anyone needed to spice up their look. After a thriving career as a trend forecaster and style coordinator for a high end fashion line, Lauren decided to take her true passion for styling and create LJStyle.  

Currently, Lauren maintains a broad range of clientele from celebrities to personal shopping clients. She believes in truly understanding her clients, their needs and helping them find ways to feel confident. Lauren has traveled the world and has an incredible eye for colors and materials and understands the immense importance both elements play in fashion and dressing oneself. Working with clients to create unique looks by mixing investment couture pieces with inexpensive basics that result in stunning statements has made Lauren stand out in the industry. 

She prides herself in really helping clients to feel inspired and excited about fashion and helping them to look and feel truly fabulous whether they are dressing for work or in a couture gown for a red carpet event. 

Her clients have been awarded "best dressed", "who wore it best", and "best dressed of the week" in various magazines on numerous occasions. Lauren also works very closely with various designers to style look-books and editorial shoots. 

She always preaches that "confidence and a positive attitude are the most important accessories one can possess".
